- Start with the most direct clues first. Apply every definitive "A = B" clue right away and fill in all resulting eliminations.
- Chain your deductions. Each filled cell often triggers new eliminations. Follow the chain until no more deductions are possible.
- Return to relational clues. With more of the grid filled in, relational clues become easier to apply. Test each possible scenario against what you already know.
- Look for forced conclusions. If only one cell in a row or column remains blank, that must be the ✓. Fill it in and cascade the consequences.
- Repeat until solved. Logic grid puzzles always have a unique solution reachable through pure deduction — no guessing required.

- Always update the entire grid immediately after placing a ✓ — don't leave cascading eliminations for later.
- Color-code your pencil marks to distinguish definite and tentative deductions.
